ReplyDeleteOnly one died, Sergent Charles Floyd. He was 22 when he died from peritonitis in August 1804. He was buried on a bluff over-looking the Missouri River in what is now Sioux City, Iowa. A monument that was on the bluff marking the burial site was moved near the Sioux City Airport.
