Day 5 The Astronauts Trained Here

The Meteor Crater in Arizona was used in training for the moon landing.

Day 5 June 13th Grand Canyon to Holbrook, AZ

Got up early with the sun this morning and packed the vans up and took off for more adventure. first stop was Meteor Crater near Winslow, Arizona. A rather striking sight in the middle of the desert!
