DAY 11 Saturday June 19th

Coletta, Amanda and I decided to visit Elk Point, SD (lots of family history here) before going to the family wedding in the afternoon.
Coletta accidentally locked her keys in the van.
But we were saved by the kind people of Elk Point.

We were near the police station so that is where we went for help.
The police officer on duty called Ferdig to help us get the keys

It wasn't the easiest thing to do but we finally got the doors unlocked!
And, Amanda got the policeman's and Ferdig's autographs!!

So then we headed for Edgar's Soda Fountain!!!! Have to celebrate getting the keys!!

Elk Point is doing a bit of Main Street road improvement!

Jenny visited the archives to find these pictures.
